Distance

Distance is a long-term photographic project created entirely using maximum digital zoom on an iPhone. Spanning more than a decade and multiple generations of cameras, the series explores how distance, limitation, and technology shape perception. By collapsing space and flattening depth, the images often move away from literal representation and toward abstraction. Though made digitally, the work is intended to exist physically, printed on textured, uncoated paper where the images can be experienced as objects rather than screens.
